Thousands of organic farms across the world have opened their homes to volunteers – stay with them on their oranic farm for free in exchange for a little bit of manual labor. When you volunteer on organic farms, you help the farm owner in their day-to-day activities in running their farm and you can stay for free. An obvious benifit of this kind of opportunity is eco tourism related for me. Travel the globe and volunteer on organic farms.

The aim of this organization is to help people become aware of how important the relationship between our food and our environment really is. Eco conscious folks tend to be very aware of how naturally grown organic food is for us. But some folks tend to make it only so far as the grocery store and buy only what is readily available. Some of us know there are organic farms locally, but we just don’t go too far out of our comfort zone to discover where they are and what they have to offer.
